Illuminated one, show me your light.
Sleeping by day and ruling by night.
As a star, in the sky, shining so bright.
Taking everything wrong and making it right.
Invoking the spirit of life by day.
Evoking the feeling of lust by night.
Ritual rules the glory of May.
Your illumination is a glorious sight.
Illuminate my soul, dearest bright one.
Fill me just as the moon is by the sun.
Taking me whole into your realm.
I pray that your light doesn’t overwhelm.
Your love and your light warm my soul.
You bring me completion — making me whole.
Deep in my darkness, I find your light.
The salt to my sugar; the balance is right.
Beloved, please come, why won’t you show me.
The reality of your manifested glory.
Your greatness expressed in the oldest of stories.
I wait for your loving embrace to hold me.
So, yes, dear one, you seem to own me.
I appreciate the light that you have shown me.
Your power from God, the pride, you told me
Is all erected in your manifested glory.
